Barriers and turnstiles are being used increasingly to constrain pedestrian flows inside and outside, in a range of new and diverse locations.  Mitrefinch install designer-quality internal barriers in high-quality prestige environments such as theatres and convention centres, as well as in more traditional external locations.  In some locations, a half-height barrier may be preferable, and we offer this as an additional alternative to our range.

Technology

Constraining pedestrian flows can be frustrating for regular users, for whom biometric identity verification is particularly useful.  In addition, biometric technology really comes into its own when the level of security is stepped up and access needs to be more restricted.  Biometric fingerprint access is becoming increasingly popular as a simple and effective method of setting and allocating appropriate levels of security.

Access for Disabled     

Businesses in the UK need to make provision for the needs of disabled people under the Disability Discrimination Act.  Our range includes matching units for disabled people that will blend in with any existing pedestrian units.

Whether you want to purchase your system outright, or spread your costs over a period of time, Mitrefinch can offer a range of flexible ownership options in partnership with leading providers. 

• 90 or 120 degree rotor options.

• Available in mild steel or a range of painted finishes.

• Turnstiles can be supplied set to lock on loss of power with key-over-ride option, or set to freewheel (requirement must be specified when ordering).

• Can be supplied with optional service gates for disabled and goods access.

• Our experienced installation team is CHAS and Safe Contractor accredited.
