Mitrefinch were highly commended in the finals of the Orange National Business Awards, in the Best Use of Technology category.
Clifton based, software company Mitrefinch, have once again been recognised in the prestigious National Business Awards.
The team received "Highly Commended" status in the Orange "Best Use of Technology in Business" category, the 3rd year running they have been recognised, marking them out as a leading technology company in the region.
Mitrefinch was singled out from entries from across the region because of the demonstration of the clear customer benefits generated by their recent programme of product development.
These developments included creating a new module for their Human Resource management system to allow it to be accessed via a web browser. Mitrefinch are the first company in the UK market to partner with rugged PDA provider, to allow companies to access their employee data remotely even when working in "tough" environments such as construction sites. Finally they have undertaken a programme of re-development of all their key packages to form an employee management "super solution".
Judges were also impressed by the strategic and rigorous way in which the new developments were researched with potential customers, tested and implemented, and the strong sales growth which had since been achieved.
In a supporting testimonial, customer Amy Bonner from Dewhurst PLC said "The Mitrefinch system is very user friendly for both day-to-day payroll and end-of-year procedure. We are always looking to continually improve what we do and Mitrefinch have been a big help in enabling us to do this"
This could not have been achieved without the enthusiasm and commitment of the Mitrefinch team, undertaking an extensive programme of training to allow them to move Mitrefinch's products forwards in-line with the very latest in hardware and software possibilities.
Business Development Director, Debbie Guppy, said "Mitrefinch is delighted to be recognised once again. It is a testament to our ongoing investment in training and development and our continued desire to push ourselves forwards as a business"
